NAIS Commission for Accreditation

The PAIS Commission for Accreditation is recognized as a member of the NAIS Commission on Accreditation.The NAIS Commission on Accreditation is an international authority on independent school accreditation, representing thousands of schools in over 100 countries. The NAIS Commission certifies 20 independent school associations worldwidePAIS is one of only 10 state associations in the U.S. whose accreditation process has been recognized by the NAIS Commission.

PAIS has fully met the established criteria for effective independent school accreditation practices, exemplary standards, and models of successful accreditation policies and procedures - Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices and is held accountable over a ten-year cycle to compliance, best practices, policies and procedures in the accreditation process. This serves two purposes: institutional improvement and quality assurance.
