The Grier School is located two miles south of Tyrone, PA. Founded in 1853, the school has operated ever since with the mission of providing young women with a balanced education involving academics, athletics, and the arts. The program is college preparatory in nature. Grier's students come from over 20 states of the USA and from 20 foreign countries. Facilities on the 300-acre campus include a new Fine Arts Center, opened in January 2002, and a new Science Center, opened in 2003.
